When a person can see themselves in a character or art, the possibilities for their imagination and creativity are endless.
EDFU Foundation strives to bring a spotlight and emphasis on the under-represented in the Arts. There are a lot of books, movies, comics, and art works being made all the time by the indigenous communities, black and brown communities, Asian communities, and women. However, the mainstream media does a poor job at highlighting them. This is devastating to the development of our children and our society. EDFU Foundation has created a collective program and worked with others to highlight the importance of an inclusive setting among the Arts. |
AFRONAUTSCheck out our Afronauts program. It is a collective open to all those who want to learn what is beyond the mainstream in art, politics, and pop culture.
The Afronauts podcast has been running since 2015 and we've attended WonderCon and NYCC as members of the press. We interview people from all over the world to bring the spotlight on issues and entertainment. |
