Support Sudan

Picture
There is a violent conflict happening in Sudan. Two military forces are fighting for power and the citizens are caught in the middle. So far, over 1,800 people have been killed and almost 900 of them are civilians. Citizens are trying to flee the country, but are met with harsh conditions or are unable to escape. There has also been very little foreign help as the Sudanese suffer.

Follow Eyes On Sudan to keep up-to-date and learn about available resources if someone you know is in need.

If you are in the USA, UK, or Canada, please write to your congressional representative(s) to urge them to help the innocent civilians of Sudan during this dangerous time.

If you are able to, DONATE! Help provide food, water, shelter, medicine and medical care for the Sudanese.

OUR WORK

Permanent Forum on People of African Descent

Picture

United Nations

The 2nd session of the United Nations Permanent Forum for People of African Descent (UNPFPAD) took place in NYC, NY, USA during May 30-June 2, 2023.

EDFU Foundation is the fiscal sponsor of the International Civil Society Working Group for the Permanent Forum of People of African Descent (ICSWG). (Several of our board members are also part of the working group.) This particular civil society organization has been a driving force in implementing UNPFPAD and improving conditions, amenities, and information access for civil society regarding the forum. They met with governing bodies within the United Nations during the forum to help implement improvements and needed changes.

EDFU Foundation along with ICSWG help multiple side events and a sponsor of the Remembering Our Roots in Pan Africanism at the Dwyer Center in Harlem, NY, USA. If you missed any of the events, they are available for viewing on our YouTube.

Opportunities With EDFU

Picture
EDFU Foundation believes we are stronger together. By working with each other, helping one another, and sharing resources to achieve our goals and what is best for humanity is how we secure a good foundation for generations to come.
Work with us.
There are many ways we can work together. One of the best aspects of EDFU Foundation is our consultative service to others to help guide and assist with projects that align with our values. We are that "think tank" that can help you tap into the resources that are already there that you haven't discovered yet.

Partner with us.
Partnering with EDFU Foundation makes sense if our organizations have similar goals and yield the same work output. When we become partners we are able to share the workload and resources to achieve our objectives at a steady pace with mutual support.
