The United Nations will hold their first ever Permanent Forum for People of African Descent in Geneva, Switzerland this year. The forum will take place December 5-8, 2022. Edfu Foundation will be present, as well as the International Working Group for the International Working Group for the Permanent Forum of People Of African Descent, where our president, Sheldon Williams, is a co-Chair.

This annual event was created and is operated by our board member, Dr.LaWana Richmond.

This particular conference functions as the United Nations' Climate Conference.
The priority theme and focus on this years session is facing the Climate Crisis.
The first ever United Nations Permanent Forum for People of African Descent (UNPFPAD) will take place December 5-8, 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland.
