Conservancy Corp.

January-7, 2021 | The Conservancy Corp announces their partnership with the Quilombo of Sao Paul, Brazil and launches a website along with a financial campaign to help them achieve land rights and financial backing for their health and education.

Edfu Foundation

​January-5 2021 | The Bay Area Street Pantry gave away 113 bags of groceries and over 7,100 items of food to people in need Oakland, California at the Melrose Library branch.

February 28-March 2, 2021 | EDFU Foundation participated in the 5th session of UNEA, giving statements and collaborating with other NGO's to bring about solutions for the environmental crisis.

March 15-26, 2021 | EDFU Foundation participated in CSW65 held virtually by the United Nations and hosted 7 panels as parallel events to highlight black and indigenous women's issues, for both the USA and the African diaspora.

April 19-30, 2021 | EDFU participated in the United Nations Permanent Forum for Indigenous Issues during the 12th session. We hosted 9 panels as parallel events during the event, including working with Gullah/Geechee and the Ylê Asé de Yansã.

February-13, 2021 | Afronauts interviews the founder of Black To Nature, Michael Richards; Dr.Katucha Bento from the University of Edinburgh in the U.K. with whom EDFU is working with to support the Ylê Asé de Yansã; and Tonia Gray who created the Hartubzani Virtual Poetry Cafe.
