SDCC 2018 Spotlight: Black Heroes Matter Flash Mob

On July-20, Afronauts was invited to take part in the SDCC 2018 Black Heroes Flash Mob, which was organized by the Black Heroes Matter organization that promotes a peaceful movement to bring attention to black and brown heroes.

Not only did we participate, but we also helped spread the word! This was the 3rd year of the flash mob, but our first year participating and concept seemed like an amazing opportunity to show support for diversity in comics!

It felt really good to see such a large crowd gather to support such a positive movement! Many great writers, artists, cosplayers, and influencers were there along side a great fan crowd! We will be joining them next year!
