EDFU Foundation is featuring Sustainable Sunday across all of our social media platforms!

Every Sunday, you can learn about 1 of the Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations! Read the EDFU blog to learn about each of the goals, what they mean, and what they aim to do in order to improve living conditions and the earth for all of humanity. Throughout the week, you can follow EDFU's Facebook page and Instagram account to learn more about what EDFU and our partners are doing to support these goals, how you can help, and general information that is helpful for achieving these goals.

Bay Area Street Pantry Holiday Hygiene Fundraiser

The Bay Area Street Pantry continues to hand out bags of groceries to the Oakland, CA, USA community every Tuesday at 11:30am at the Melrose Library. In the past month we have averaged 107 bags a week.

We are always looking for volunteers and people who can help transport food!

Help Needed:

• Volunteers are needed at the library from 10am-11:30am to help pack bags and setup to handout food.
• Volunteers are needed from 11:30am-1:00pm (typically we are finished an hour or so early) to pass out food to the community and clean up.
• We're also looking for volunteers to coordinate food pick-up runs throughout the week!

The Bay Area Street Pantry has started its 2021 holiday campaign! We're looking to raise $3,000 to help the community we serve in Oakland, CA to have hygiene products for the holidays. We provide 100 or more bags of food every week! However, we're often asked if we can provide hygiene products and we're not able to do this on a consistent basis. If you're able to help, please donate!

We're running a campaign through GoFundMe and all donations are tax-deductible!

You can also donate directly through our fundraising organization where donations are tax-deductible! Just select the cause/program you want to give to!
